The City of Sonora, PG&E, and the California Fire Foundation wants to make the public aware that last year was the most destructive wildfire season in California on record. 4 million acres burned in 2020 – more than doubling 2018’s previous record. This is a reminder that wildfires can happen at anytime. Stay prepared, be ready to evacuate early, and make sure you have a 5-minute plan to get out safely and quickly.
