Trails & Parks

There are several Parks, a recreational trail and public use facilities within the City of Sonora. They range from a small “tot lot” with little children’s playground equipment to the 35 acre natural trail called Dragoon Gulch.

A Special Event Permit is required for any public or private event to be held within a City park. Private events that do not include setting up any equipment or structures and have 25 or fewer people in attendance do not require a Special Event Permit.
