By way of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the City of Sonora (City) is seeking qualified contractors to provide construction and repair services on an on-call, as needed basis to augment City Public Works staff. Typical work anticipated under this contract will be similar in nature to, but may not be limited to the items listed below:
- Emergency Response and Repairs
- Flood Management and Erosion Control
- Building Repair, Restoration and Remodeling
- Vegetation Management and Debris Removal
- Roadside Spraying/Weed Abatement
- Creek Clearing
- Traffic Signal Maintenance
- Traffic Control Services
- Slurry Seals, Microsurfacing and Cape Seals
- Roadway and Parking Lot Surface Patching and Paving
- Concrete Curb, Gutter, Sidewalk and Flatwork Installation
- Traffic Striping and Pavement Marking Installation
- Storm Drain Infrastructure Repair/Replacement
- Storm Drain Culvert Repair/Replacement
- Utility Locating, CCTV Inspection, and Potholing
- Roofing
- Interior/Exterior Painting
- HVAC Repair/Replacement
- Demolition and Debris Removal
- Winter Roadway Maintenance
- Homeless Encampment Debris Removal and Support Services
The City is seeking a list of pre-qualified Contractors to provide construction and repair services for City facilities. The contract will be effective through June 30, 2027, with the City holding an option to extend the period of services for two additional one-year terms through June 30, 2029.
Qualified contractors are encouraged to submit a Statement of Qualifications by the submission
deadline: March 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

as noted below. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by writing “#1” in the space provided in
Section A. Statement Certification of the SOQ submittal. Failure to do so may subject Bidder to
disqualification.
