NOTICE OF BID OPPORTUNITY
CITY OF SONORA PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE YARD STRUCTURE
AT 111 W SCHOOL ST, SONORA, CA 95370
The City of Sonora is seeking bids from qualified contractors to construct a new Public Works maintenance yard at 111 W. School Street, Sonora, CA 95370. Bids will be received at the public works information counter, 94 Washington Street, Sonora, California, 95370, until 2:00 PM on APRIL 14, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read at said address. The City of Sonora reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids.
Work includes the fabrication, delivery, and installation of a new Public Works maintenance yard structure, providing the related site civil construction work and underground utility work and hookups (water and electrical) as shown on the plans.
The selected contractor will be required to obtain a building permit with the City Community Development Department. The permit fee will be waived.
The estimated cost of this project is $200,000. The project is anticipated to be completed within 40 Working Days. The DBE Contract goal is 0 percent.
A mandatory pre-bid site tour will be held on April 3rd, 2025, at 8:00 am at 111 W School St, Sonora CA, 95370.
