NOTICE OF BID OPPORTUNITY

CITY OF SONORA WOODS CREEK ROTARY PARK PICKLEBALL COURT ADDITION

NEAR 680 WOODS CREEK DRIVE, SONORA, CA 95370

The City of Sonora is seeking bids from qualified contractors to construct a new pickleball court at the Woods Creek Rotary near 111 Woods Creek Rotary Park, Sonora, CA 95370. Bids will be received at the public works information counter, 94 Washington Street, Sonora, California, 95370, until 2:00 PM on APRIL 30, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read at said address. The City of Sonora reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids.

Work includes performing site demolition and grading, reconfiguring the existing sprinkler system, constructing the concrete pickleball court slab and access walkway, applying the court surface treatment and paint, furnishing and installing the pickleball net system and court benches, furnishing and installing the perimeter fencing and gate, resodding areas left as exposed earth after the completion of the pickleball construction, and furnishing and installing other appurtenances needed for the completed project as shown on the plans

The selected contractor will be required to obtain a building permit with the City Community Development Department. The permit fee will be waived.

The estimated cost of this project is $175,000. The project is anticipated to be completed within 40 Working Days. The DBE Contract goal is 0 percent.

A mandatory pre-bid site tour will be held on April 18, 2025, at 8:00 am at the Woods Creek Rotary Patk near 680 Woods Creek Drive, Sonora CA, 95370, adjacent to the Little League baseball field.
