            Items on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be voted on in one motion unless a Council member or member of the public has a question or wishes to discuss an item. In that case, the item will be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered separately.

 

             1.  Approve the following meeting minutes:

                 a.  City Council Open Session Meeting of September 5, 2017

     

      2.  Approval to pay invoices of previously budgeted expenses on September 19, 2017

  

      3.  Approval of disbursements in the amount of $138,146.58 on September 15, 2017 for payroll, inclusive of employee salaries, employer and employee taxes and retirement contributions, and miscellaneous voluntary employee deductions

1.  Consideration of the Mayor’s Business member appointment to the Homeless Task Force and confirmation by the City Council

I.          NEW BUSINESS     

1.  Consideration to adopt Resolution No. 09-18-2017-A, authorizing the closure of State Route 49 (Washington Street) and various other City streets to accommodate the Sonora Union High School District Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 13th

 

2.  Consideration of the Mayor’s appointment to the Planning Commission and confirmation by the City Council

 

3.  Consideration to approve the use of the Coffill parking, lot located on Green Street south of Stockton Road, by Green Street Beer LLC for the placement of a PG & E transformer, grease interceptor, bike rack and related utility services in consideration for reconstructing the parking lot

 

4.  Presentation of City of Sonora 2020 General Plan 2017 Proposed Comprehensive Amendment

 

5.  Discussion and possible recommendation regarding the sale of up to $500,000 in PG & E Rule 20A underground funds

 

6.  Consideration to adopt Resolution No. 09-18-2017-B authorizing the Chief of Police to execute an agreement to allow the use of the City firing range by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire)

 

7.  Consideration to establish two no parking zones to allow transit stops on the north and south sides of Stockton Road near Green Street for the Unruly Brew and Que festival on September 30th
