Microenterprise Assistance Program

The Microenterprise Assistance Program is designed to stimulate growth in small business within our community, and create new private enterprise jobs, thereby improving the economic conditions for all residents in the community. Technical assistance is available, as well as Micro Loans. Eligible applicants are those who either have a physical business address within the City limits, or are individuals wishing to start a new business within the City limits and are a current City resident.

The overall program goal is to provide specialized training and "one-on-one" technical assistance to eligible Microenterprises to assist in operating a successful business and/or expanding their business.

OFFERING MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE FOR:

UP TO $3,000 PER MONTH FOR UNEMPLOYED HOMEOWNERS WHO ARE IN IMMINENT DANGER OF DEFAULTING ON THEIR HOME LOAN

FUNDS TO HELP HOMEOWNERS WHO HAVE FALLEN BEHIND ON THEIR MORTGAGE PAYMENTS DUE TO A TEMPORARY CHANGE IN A HOUSEHOLD CIRCUMSTANCE.  FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE FOR UP TO $15,000 PER HOUSEHOLD TO REINSTATE MORTGAGES TO PREVENT FORECLOSURES.

FUNDS TO REDUCE THE PRINCIPAL OWED ON A MORTGAGE FOR A HOMEOWNER FACING A SERIOUS FINANCIAL HARDSHIP.
