The City of Sonora is launching a short community survey to gather public input for its 2026–2029 Economic Development Strategic Plan. The survey is now open and available online for all residents, workers, business owners, and frequent visitors to share their ideas, concerns, and hopes for the local economy.
This 5–7 minute survey gives community members a chance to weigh in on issues that matter most — from downtown revitalization and job creation to housing, infrastructure, and quality of life. Participants can identify what they believe Sonora needs more of, what should stay the same, and what could be improved in the coming years.
The 2026–2029 Economic Development Strategic Plan will provide the City of Sonora with a clear vision, set of priorities, and action steps to attract investment, support local businesses, strengthen the workforce, and enhance community well-being. Community feedback is central to building a strategy that reflects local values and unlocks Sonora’s full potential.
